Aromatherapy is an ancient form of medicine that has found a spot in modern life. At Personality Scents, our goal is to take the mystery out of aromatherapy and make it accessible to anyone with an interest.

Personality Scents is not in the business of medicine, nor are we trained doctors, therefore all physical ailments that may benefit from aromatherapy treatment should also be treated by a trained physician. Aromatherapy should not be used solely to treat any physical ailments and is only meant to be an aide in the relief of some symptoms.
 
There are many benefits of aromatherapy. I will explain some of the most common uses of aromatherapy. Be sure to check our Aromatherapy Guide for the oils that will benefit you best.

Each aromatherapy oil has different benefits. Some may work wonders for you while others may not work for you at all. Keep this in mind as an example...Lavender is a traditional calming scent (among other things). Now imagine you hate the smell of lavender or it reminds you of a summer you were stuck inside all day with an elderly relative that would pinch your cheeks so hard it left marks...this wouldn't be relaxing to you. Therefore the aromatherapy properties of this scent will be over-shadowed by a subliminal memory leaving it to have the exact opposite reaction...it will more than likely make you uptight or anxious.
As I said, Aromatherapy works but only if you are given the choices that will make it work for YOU! We offer choices...did you know Sandalwood, Jasmine and 11 other scents work as well?!?

All of our products can be scented with either Aromatherapy grade (AG) oils or high grade fragrance oils...except the Inhaler as only some scents are meant to be inhaled directly and is therefore available in Aromatherapy Grade oils ONLY.
